If your car has no test certificate then you could receive the following penalties:

  • maximum fine:
    • 50% take home if driver
    • 50% take home if owner driver (but might have uplift of 25%)
    • 100% of weekly net income if company
    • fine up to £1,000

This offence does not carry penalty points.
