motorist admitted driving to court while disqualified

A motorist has admitted driving to court while disqualified - to
answer a speeding charge. Mr Michael Tomlin was banned from driving
in November, but was spotted parking his VW Golf outside Cromer
Magistrates Court in Norfolk to face a separate speeding charge. Mr
Tomlin also admitted driving without insurance. Mr Tomlin told the
Court that, because he had just moved to the area, he did not know
anyone who could give him a lift to court. He will be sentenced on
28 April.
