North Wales police hid speed camera in horsebox

Police in North Wales have come up with a new method of tackling
speeding motorists. Last Sunday 20 April, officers from the force
used a horsebox parked by the side of the road to hide a speed
camera. The horsebox with two officers inside was parked on the
A470 at Maenan near Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley. This appears to
run contrary to Department of Transport recommendations that speed
cameras should be made "highly visible" to motorists.
