how much will it cost?

The first contact and interview with us is free.  We will investigate the best source of funding for your individual case and discuss the options with you.

It is very unlikely in most cases that any fees will be payable up front.  Typical personal injury cases cost between £2,500 - £7,500 to run.  If the case proceeds to trial the costs will be significantly more than this.  When we win your case we get almost all of these costs back from the defendant in addition to your compensation.

The vast majority of cases are funded by way of Conditional Fee Agreements, or 'no win, no fee' agreements.

We enter into these agreements with our clients in order to share the risk of litigation with them.

We will pay all up-front costs and expenses required to investigate claims.  In addition, we pay for an insurance policy protecting against the risk of our client having to pay defendant's costs if they lose their case.

If you have relevant legal expenses cover on either a home or car insurance policy, we will often be able to fund your case using this pre-existing cover.  We also act for some clients privately at agreed hourly rates.

Our guiding principle is that we won't take on your case and run it so that you are out of pocket.  You either win and receive compensation and your costs, or you lose and are protected from paying anything by an insurance policy which we fund.
