Rachel is head of Blake Lapthorn's Private Law department and Private Client Services group. She deals with the drafting of Wills, tax planning, the administration of estates and applications through the Court of Protection. Rachel has particular expertise in advising parents who have children with learning difficulties, in the planning of their affairs, and works with various charities by giving presentations. She works closely with the Personal Injury department regarding the settlement of large awards into trust through the Court of Protection, by whom Rachel has been appointed a Panel Deputy.
Rachel is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, of which she has been appointed chair of the Central Southern Branch. She is also a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
