  • For the first time since 1993 a change to the provisions on intestacy has been brought into effect.
  • People generally only rarely review their Wills. They typically do so when there are changes in their family intentions or if their wealth has considerably improved.
  • Sometimes head injuries sustained in accidents can be missed by both the medical and legal professions. This means they are not properly investigated, treated or compensated.
  • With the property market still uncertain, businesses still failing, unemployment rising and many homeowners with mortgages in negative equity, there is certainly an impact on anyone contemplating a divorce.
  • The risk of an epidemic on the French property market from the collapse of the sub-prime market in the United States is without a doubt a threat in France.
